The M3000 is a conventional upright metallurgical microscope that is ideal for use in the laboratory. Through a binocular head capable of 30-degree rotation, a polished and etched surface can be viewed with reflected light brightfield, darkfield or simple polarization at magnifications up to 1600X. This instrument may be adapted to a digital camera or an optional CCD image process system to download the image to a PC for data transfer, analysis, storage or printout.
